Fourflax

A family owned and operated business based in Ashburton, New Zealand. They manufacture and distribute top quality Animal Health Products for your cats, dogs and horses. Their Flax Seed Products are obtained from ripe linseed crops that are fully traceable right back to the fertile Canterbury Plains of New Zealand, and their Apple Cider Vinegar is all produced in Canterbury too.

Originally established over 20 years ago, their parent Company was first founded by a group of seven farmers who had been growing Linum usitatissimum (linseed) for several years and were interested in the health benefits of Flax Seed Oil.

That company grew over the years, and is now New Zealand’s largest producer of cold-pressed, New Zealand grown Flax Seed Oil and Fibre, supplying the Food, Dietary Supplement, Cosmetic and Specialist Animal Nutrition Industries. More recently, during the course of the business, they found that they were being approached by veterinarians and animal lovers asking for Flax Seed Oil, as what they were currently buying from health food shops wasn't in the necessary quantities for feeding to animals.

That is when Fourflax was born. Their own brand offering premium Flax Seed Products for animals, meaning that customers can buy quantities suitable for animal consumption, and making feeding Flax Seed Oil easy.

Fourflax was established in July 2009, and has grown pretty quickly in that time! Now mid-way through 2014, they have over 260 stockists throughout New Zealand and many satisfied customers, as well as distribution partners in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia and the UK. In addition to the Flax Seed Products they began with, they now offer other top quality supplements for optimum Animal Health.
